Customer Care

Our aim is to make sure that all of our clients are taken care of with any project that we are involved with whether, large or small. It is in our interest to ensure that you the customer are totally satisfied with the work we carry out on your behalf, this way our business continues to thrive, and our reputation remains solid and reliable, Most of our customers are so delighted with the work we complete for them that they often agree to allow us to use their project as “live showrooms” for a short period of time. With our customers happy to recommend us to their friends and family, and allowing prospective clients to view their finished project you can see clearly why we are determined that you will be taken care of. Please take a look at the testimonials and feedback statistics section of the website to give you further peace of mind and confidence that we can look after you!

We monitor all of our work and clients provide feedback to assist us in maintaining our high standards. We are proud to say that 100 % of our customers are happy not only to use our company again, but would also recommend DCS to their family and friends. We are sure you will agree that a percentage like that is a good indicator of how we treat our clients, and will also give you confidence in our ability to take care of you and your project.

Pleased be assured that these comments are genuine and we keep on file all of our clients information, including their completed questionaire should you wish to confirm the comments.

Terms & Conditions

our company policy is very simple and straightforward, we endeavour to offer a premium service to all clients, and do our very best to ensure their total satisfaction on completion of every project we undertake. You might like to review our customer testimonials section to highlight we take this very seriously.
You have a 2 year guarantee on all of our workmanship.
Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for replacing faulty goods once we have completed your project. We are happy to provide a replacement service but this may include additional charges (discretional)

FAULTY GOODS & SUPPLIERS
Sadly we find today that manufacturers and suppliers of goods do not pay close attention to quality control and will distribute poor inferior or inadequate equipment and goods at times.

DISCLAIMER UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAULTY GOODS SUPPLIED BY EITHER OURSELVES OR THE CUSTOMER OR THIRD PARTIES (SEE TEST CASES)

SUPPLIES | MATERIALS | EQUIPMENT | SUNDRY ITEMS
We look to assist our customers by offering the benefit of our experience in giving best advice and guidance regarding the purchasing of top quality materials and using trustworthy suppliers who offer excellent customer service advice and backup, however this is only a guide and we cannot be held responsible for poor customer service or faulty goods and / or materials or equipment on the part of other companies. (SEE TEST CASES)

RECOMMENDING SUPPLIERS AND TRADESMEN
We offer a project management type approach where all of the tradesmen which we use are bonafide self employed, fully registered tradespeople, who are responsible for their own taxation affairs and hold personal public liability insurance.
We are insured for £5m public liability, which we can provide upon request.

TEST CASES
Our reason for including some test cases is to highlight that we are not unreasonable with our customer care and will do what we can in providing an unrivalled service in looking after our customers. Any complaints that we have are mainly supplier / manufacturing problems (for example see Mr & Mrs Box testimonial, September 2011)

TEST CASE 1 BATHROOM REFURBISHMENT
We take on a bathroom refurbishment project. A new bath is installed, against our best advice the client would like taps at the back of the bath against the wall. And a shower over the bath. We are called back to investigate a leak which turns out to be a result of a split in the chrome of the bath taps. The manufacturer sends out a replacement part. However to install the new part in exchange for the faulty one the shower screen needs removing, along with the tiled bath panel, and the bath completely removed to access the taps. Who's responsibility is it to pay for the replacement to be carried out? On this occasion we felt obliged to carry out this work free of charge because we had not provided our customer with a clear disclaimer.

TEST CASE 2 MAJOR REBUILDING PROJECT
Following an extensive building programme on behalf of a client who spent in excess of £150k creating a new family home, after several months some of the light bulbs failed. The client was happy to contact the supplier directly and organise replacement bulbs (the bulbs were £15 each) we fitted these free of charge, a few months on it became obvious there was a manufacturing issue with the bulbs, the client was provided with more replacements. This time we charged for our labour as it was a manufacturing fault. The client was aware of our disclaimer.

TEST CASE 3 TOILET SEAT
After receiving a phone call, we travelled a 40 mile round trip when a previous customer complained they had a broken toilet seat. We refused to replace the broken toilet seat however we were happy to remove the damaged seat in order for them to find a replacement, all of this free of charge. Our reason for declining this was very simple, it had been 4 years since we installed the bathroom.
